I know one thing GRATITUDE and PRAISE that comes IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING unlocks the fullness of life...even in the midst of death and job loss. It turns what we have into ENOUGH, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a simple meal of pinto beans and rice into a FEAST! Gratitude makes sense of our PAST, brings peace for TODAY, and creates a VISION for the FUTURE!

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” It’s good to have goals for God. The Bible says in Philippians 3:14, “I PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” When we think of "pressing on"...there comes to mind the picture of a strong wind in opposition almost pushing you BACK from the direction in which you are headed. What is the "IT" FACTOR that keeps us PRESSING ON? To have GOALS in life "for God", to have personal GOALS, to have dreams to believe in, to have a vision to serve God, to be determined to see it through.

If we don’t a vision, we don’t have a LAZER FOCUS. We PERISH for "lack of drive". We PERISH for a "lack of vision", and don’t achieve things in life. To have a dream, "to aim for a vision" to BELIEVE in, to have SOMETHING that so "grips us that we will not let it go"; to have that VISION for God, to be PURPOSE DRIVEN "in God", to BELIEVE in a vision and SEE it come to pass.

Can we say "together" as ONE VOICE…
We have a VISION for this nation; we share a DREAM for this land. We JOIN with angels in celebration, by FAITH we SPEAK revival in this land. Where every knee shall bow and worship You, And every tongue confess that You are Lord, Grant us an open heaven by Your Mercy; ANOINT our prayers this day, And move Your sovereign hand, across this nation.

If trials and tribulations have come to visit you...it is okay. In order TO PRESS ON...there has to be "opposition" (and many of you know I am speaking at this very moment in the midst of my own)...BUT the meat of this message is this: do not BELIEVE upon the tribulations "accept them", but let it NOT be that "SOMETHING" that grips us that we can not LET go in the negative Satanic Realm of Dispair and HOPELESSNESS. Be "shocked" but not dismayed! Stumble but not fall. Lean on the loving arms of Our Father who reaches out to your through authentic Love and His Holy Spirit of Truth. He NEVER promised this Life would be "easy" but He did PROMISE it would be WORTH IT...."if" we hold fast (grip it) to our FAITH.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)" (Heb. 10:23).This is an important type of Bible confession that many in the body of Christ have missed.

We are to "hold fast the profession of our faith." In the King James Version, the word profession is used. But the same Greek word homologeo is translated as "confession" elsewhere in the New Testament and means "to speak the same thing as; to AGREE with." So the writer of Hebrews is actually saying, "Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

We often focus on God's faithfulness—and God is faithful. He said, "I watch over My Word to perform it" (Jer. 1:12). Whatever He has said, He will do because "God is not a man, that he should lie" (Num. 23:19).

God is faithful, BUT NOTICE THAT HE REQUIRES SOMETHING OUT OF US. He's faithful to perform His Word—if we BELIEVE AND ACT on it. He told us we have a part to play. If we want His faithfulness to operate in our lives, we must hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering.

Ah the eyes of my eyes are opened. There is no DUTY we so much underrate as the DUTY of being Faithful. In FAITH we sow anonymous benefits upin the world. Be courageous. Ask yourself in the midst of your personal turmoil: am I walking in FAITH so gripped by IT that I BELIEVE and ACT upon it?

The deeply personal answers to this vital question will be different for each of us as each of us are pressing on THROUGH "opposition" threatening to push us BACK from the VISION that The Lord has prepared for us. Satan threatens to grip us with despair in death as The Gilbert family can bear witness to, and myself losing my job just after Christmas, while others around me in my town of Rome, Ga are caught in the grips of the aftermath of the EF3 tornado that touched down less than a mile from my house. I am reminded at this very moment of wrting this that it is NOT the "force" of the opposition threatening to push us BACK or DOWN, but in the POWER of Christ IN US to PRESS ON. Make peace with the knowledge that we can't have everything the way WE would want? Why? Because it is important for each of us to get what we NEED. Trust in the loving WISDOM of your heart. It is only after we acknowledge our INNER NEEDS that we can harness the creative energy necessary to manifest them in our lives. It is inevitable when we are in GREAT NEED of something one finds it. Whether through the providence of Divine INtervention because we are "positioned" to RECEIVE, or too caught in the grip of "dispair" that we become blinded and lost and tossed about by the "winds of opposition".

When we are "concerned yet IN FAITH" for this or this our "concentration" focuses like a laser. Suddenly there's a clarity about all of life because we REALIZE what is important. LIVING is important. FREEDOM is important. THE BASIC SIMPLE things are important. Everyday is a GIFT. You realize that with each breath we breathe WE have been given another CHANCE to obtain right-thinking, to get things right and in order. Most of the time we are given it, and most of the time we receive it and we are GRATEFUL. That is the method of operation of God!

But "worries" MOCK us. They STEAL the joy of living because they follow us around all day like a dark menacing shadow. AT night they hover at the foot of the bed like unwelcomed spirits in a thrid rate horror film just laying in wait to ROB you of necessary sleep. When we are "worried" about this or that then the days are DREADED, and ANXIETY sets up residence in our hearts and minds. As I have shared recently heartache and tragedy may visit us like a guest, but she doesn't have to take up residence. Where that space is OCCUPIED with Faith, HOPE, and a VISION for the future...there can be no room in the INN.

As I look out over this GREAT NATION I see where the enemy has actually used US against ourselves by dividing us against one another in fear, dispair, worry and hopeless faithlessness. It is my sincere prayer that today Spirit annoint this writing and that a sentence leaps off the page as if it had been written just for YOU..yes YOU. Or revelation comes in the song of a bird. Maybe an angel will seem to whisper in your ear serenity is what you desire not security.

I know from EXPERIENCE this week that sometimes the fierce storms come so strong that we find ourselves shivering, but unharmed though the day rough threatens us to find even one thing to be GRATEFUL for...but WE MUST! Why? Gratitude UNLOCKS the fullness of LIFE! Why? Because none of us will be the same person 2 months from now after CONSCIOUSLY giving THANKS each day for the abundance that exists in OUR LIVES. Gratitude sets in motion a SPIRITUAL LAW: the more you have AND ARE GRATEFUL FOR...the more will be given you. Yes, Gratitude is the hearts memory, and FAITH is what "powers" UP and Divine Grace comes down.

So today I begin. I am grateful thou OUTSIDE, winters darkness and cold closes in, INSIDE I have found my own Light where IN IT are found the details of life that beauty is revealed, sustained and nurtured. As I pause in graceful manner (fired yes...but I CHOSE to hold my head in GRACEFUL MANNER) and join with angels and PROCLAIM it is finished! That "chapter" of my life is done. Though as I paid all the bills, I stare at the balance in my checking account $3.58. I smiled. Though to many right now that is a travesty! I see the FULLNESS of the VALUE of what is left in Biblical Numerics. 3 is the number for God. 5 is the number for Grace and Unmerited Favor. 8 is New Beginnings. As I enter this New Year it shall truly be New Beginnings in 2012. I ended this year trusting that everyday moments will soon begin to resonate in a rhapsody of fulfillment as THE VISION stays in focus....Our Nation needs healing, and revival! Though winds of opposition have come to visit...I have come too far to turn back. Like the pioneer women of the early days of this Nations birth, I too shall sing "Keep going. Don't stop. Your on the right path and you are not alone".

What Kind of Drug are you on?

Tonight I was asked what "drug" am I on? I kinda looked at them in a funny way, and gathered my voice and said "none...why do you ask?" They replied "Everytime I see you, you have a million things going on, projects, things you want to do, and right smack in the middle of it is this smile that grins almost as if you have a secret."

After they paid for their Christmas Tree and left, I pondered what was really said.

For me I think of Life as a journey. Life as safari. Life as a pilgrimage. Life as a garden. Life as the highest art.

Pathfinders. Prospectors.Pioneers.Detective​s.Explorers. Archaeologist. Pilgrims. Poets. Gardeners. Artists of the EVERYDAY.

Women of Spirit. Women of Substance. Women with style. Women who have LIVED "the questions". Women READY to embrace the answers. Women who look great in hats. Thats why we wear so many different ones.

Seekers of the Sacred in the ordinary. Real Life. The mystical in the madness,. The Holy Mysteries of the Mundane.

Seekers of Love. Passion. Wholeness.
Authencity.
Where am I headed? Where are we headed?

We're headed HOME.

But before I arrive..WE arrive, there are vast worlds awaiting exploration. Worlds within. Worlds without. Earth. Heaven. Spiritual. Physical.
Heaven on Earth.
Sometimes the terrain is rocky and the slopes steep. Sometimes the jungle is thick and its interior very dark. Sometimes the water is deep and the waves rough.

This is why we need soem variety in our approach. How will I know or we know when we have reached the destination? You'll know.
Its that simple. REAL THINGS are.
Are we there yet?
Not quite.
But it's taking too long.
Often it seems that way. Chronologically we're at the end of the year but the beginning of the journey. Not to worry, We'll have all the time we need to find ourselves.
Someone who loves you unconditionally is at the HELM. Divine Love sustains you, surrounds you, enfolds you, protects you. Go in peace. You are as ready as ever you will be; well equipped for the adventures awaiting. Divine Substance--which is your only Reality--provides abundantly. But you must ASK. Ask For help, supply, guidance, Grace. ASK for the POWER to be switched on. Ask to catch the flow. ASK to soar.

ASK. ASK. ASK>

Ask for a respite this season from all your crises. Surrender suffering, sorrow, pain, loss, lack and want. Surrender Expectations. ASK to be surprised by Joy.

Give thanks, WAIT. Watch what happens. Get excited. Open your arms as wide as you can receive all the miracles with your name on them.

NEVER FORGET THAT ALL YOU HAVE IS ALL YOU NEED!

Believe. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. Believe the One who believes in YOU. All things are possible for those who believe.

Navigate by the stars. Search the Heavens for yours. Follow it. Keep on the lookout for soulful markers. The souls Awakening is GRATITUDE. The Souls Essence is SIMPLICITY!

Pray your journey is a long one. SAVOR IT. Stop wishing things would speed up. Savor the stops along the way. Those moments in a haste that would otherwise cause us to miss the flowers on the side of the road, the turtle right smack in the middle of it. They are the things which make the search marvelous. Meaningful. Memorable. Find and honor your OWN pace. There are still many harbors to be seen for the first time. YOu are headed for someplace you have never been before. Put down the remote control, and breathe IN spirit, and breathe OUT love.Let your personal PASSIONS stir your mind, body and spirit. Set your course, and keep God at the helm and you the co-pilot. Set sail on a course towards TRUTH and Authenticity...always being approachable. For when you find this sacred isle, you will no longer SEE things as "they" are...you will see things as YOU are.

So, joyful simplicities for this season irregardless of circumstances!
REALLY DECK THE HALLS. Spread Holiday Cheer with seasonal decorations. NO MONEY? Go to your local Lowes and pick up the FREE CLIPPINGS from where they trim trees. Grab a cup of Hot Cocoa, and make garland, door swags...cost nothing, but a little bit of time. Grab the family, turn off the tv, and make it a night of togetherness! Go outside and lob off a few of those Holly Bushes with red Berries, and add them to the FREE greenery for color..come on YOU CAN DO IT.

Dip into the SIMPLE treasury of seasonal stories while together. Don't forget to smile.
